Photographer’s Note

I was just thinking fall is my favorite season, but then I realised I have also thought this in both summer and winter while taking photos, and probably also during spring. I just love really defined colours that you can have at the peak of each season and in this specific photo, I feel the raindrop at the tip of the branch enhances the feeling of fall. I hope this somewhat abstract photo transfers to you the mood of the season and if so, I feel I have been successful.

The photo was taken in the forest in my home town Heusden-Zolder, a place from where I have posted quite a few photos already.

Hello Gerd,
I like the picture. Good composition. I like the DOF and the lovely colour gamma which create a special mood :) The raindrop with a bit of a tiny mysterious world inside it looks beautiful.
