Photographer’s Note
These are the spires of several buildings surrounding Lueven's central square. I was only there for a day or so and did not learn about the age or purpose of the buildings, but I sure liked the ornate spires against the dusky evening sky.

Hi James - nice use of the silhouettes, I'm surprised they were not floodlit. From the date taken I swear I may have been in Leuven that same day, second coincidence today so far.

Hi James ! I can guarantee you that I was in Leuven on that day, as I live in Leuven :-) The building in the middle is the National Bank. Next to it, you have the town hall, which celebrated its 500th anniversary last year... I do hope that you made it to the Old Market as well, just around the corner, for a sneak peak at the Leuven nightlife...and a Stella of course ;-)) It's a university city and the place is always buzzing...definitely worth recommending !

I have always admired silhouettes. Nice architecture, nice point of view.
