Photographer’s Note
The Park Abbey (Dutch: Abdij van 't Park) is a Premonstratensian abbey in Belgium.
It is just south of Leuven and is one of the most intact abbey buildings in Belgium.
About 1129 Geoffrey the Bearded bestowed his hunting-ground, located south of Leuven, on the Premonstratensians, still the residents of an interesting group of buildings, surrounded by green meadows and ponds.
The walls and archways, the water-mill, the huge tithe barn, once the hub of agrarian and economic activities, enclose the abbey.

Hello Chris,
I love how you have used the web of fine branches and twigs as a f/g for your shot. It helps to give an impression of age ... the forest has had time to grow up and shroud it from view.
The light plays a strong part in illuminating parts of the building and providing it with a golden facade, and also giving texture and depth to the snowy field.
A very pleasing shot overall.
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Kris,
Creatively build point of view while filling naked tree branches all over frame and including splendid wintry scene with next beauty of The Park Abbey. Poplar trees, blue sky, snowy ground under different lights are wonderful. Very good quality and sharpness, congratulations. Have a nice new week.
Best Regards,
Ertugrul
