Photographer’s Note
On the cold and bright morning of December 29, I put on my comfortable walking shoes and went a walking in my hometown...

This is a second view from the Groenplaats looking towards the Cathedral, a bit less obvious than the previous one, but it shows two things I like, which were not visible in my previous picture and which I'd like to draw your kind attention to:
- the cathedral's big southern window, which is actually opposite the famous stained-glass window of Albrecht and Isabella
- the little umbrella shop on the corner ('Huis Cockx'), which was founded in 1844 and is the oldest specialist shop in Antwerp
For more info on the cathedral or on the Groenplaats, please see my previous post.

Only the red of the umbrella was saturated in PP. Yes, it was such a bright morning...

Hi Benny
I find the distorted buildings rather attractive and the curious umbrella creates a strong focal point. The intense blue of the sky sets the buildings off nicely.
Regards
Nikki
