Misty fall morning in the Belgian countryside.
I like this picture because the longer you look at it the trees seem to appear slowly...or the fog seems to densify and mystically swallow up anything around and take it away again...
the photo is so real and alive to me, cant' quite describe it.
I think it needs the pole because it gives depth to the picture and makes the scene look even more "lonely" and quiet. The photo isn't about the trees but the atmosphere on that field on an early autumn morning. |

Yes, you're right the longer you look the more you can see trees, but the pole in the midle of the field attrack the eye and one forget about the trees. Before I read your note, I though the picture was about a pole lost in the fog.
To my own humble opinion, you should have get a bit closer to the trees so they'll get a bit darker and keep the pole out of the frame.
Yes I see there a typical scenery of Belgium in wintertime... Nice description too! The pole doesn't bother me...
Very nice shot. I agree with your description, and feel similarly. Kudos!

wow!! first thing when i looked at it i thought there were fingerprints on my screen!! but then i reached the part where you talk about the trees and it is true, the more you look at them the more you see them, and then they disappear again... very special effect!
