Photographer’s Note
As so many of the guide books say, Antwerp is, “cool”. In addition to the wonderful gothic and baroque architecture, it is also one of Europe’s central fashion hubs. Between the impressive Centraal train station and the historic center which is based around the Grote Markt lies a pedestrianised shopping district called Meir. The Meir defines “bustling”, a sense of which you may get from this picture.
