Without a doubt St. Paul's is rooted in the values of Antwerp. It exudes a unique and irresistible charm. In Antwerp "St. Paul's" is a fixed term, thanks to the exceedingly artistic patrimony, the calm, picturesque Calvary, the romanticism of the old monastery complex, the glory of the solemn orchestral church services, and also because of its setting in the well anchored site in the ancient maritime neighborhood. Here baroque art triumphs - paintings of the greatest masters of Antwerp are hanging brotherly united next to each other in their natural habitat: Rubens, van Dyck, Teniers, Jordaens, Francken. Hi Gosia,
That is an incredible interior, and the detail in the altar looks amazing. Brilliant idea to include the people in the capture too, as it gives a great indication of the vast scale of this place. Although I do like rich decoration, there is something to be said for the simple delicate touch as we can see here. Great POV, and centred perfectly!

what a 17mm can do! Gret wide view inside this church showing all upside and downside struture. Lovely light.
The church is very rich in details. I like the saints images on the columns.

ieri volevo fare un commento a questa tua foto ma avevo esaurito le mie critiche e non mi è stato possibile.
Rimedio oggi dicendo tutto il bene possinile di questa composizione che apprezzo per l'ottima nitidezza (non facile in un interno) ma soprattutto per il bel punto di ripresa che accentua l'architettura e per aver saputo accentuare il distacco tra la ricca decorazione delle colonne e della parte inferiore della navata e la semplice e bianca nudità della parte superiore ed in particolare delle volte. Una composizione di tutto rispetto che premia la tua fatica, tanto più che raramente una foto fatta in un intyerno viene apprezzata dal pubblico.

Hello Gosia,

You're capturing well this inside of church by a good composition, a good perspective and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the elegant church with white ceiling which repeats a graceful pattern and he statues installed by the wall of both sides. And, this church is harmonized well by beautiful interor and a gentle color combination.
