one more from that wintery walkabout in my hometown...

Antwerp is a city on a river. It has a port.
For centuries this has made it a place of meeting, encounter and exchange.

This picture shows two old boats resting on dry land. They are on the quayside along the river Scheldt, not far from the MAS museum that they now belong to.

This picture revisits a shot I uploaded earlier. Same theme, similar composition, I try to improve & hope you like the result.

Hello Benny,

This is great pov, which uses the bow of one boat to divide the frame, to act as contrast and to create a great sense of depth to the shot. I love the dof, the nice saturation and the overall 'feel' of the shot.

Very nicely composed and colourful image with a lovely graphic feel.Captain haddock would probably say 'billions of blue blistering barnacles' as he and TinTin make a run for it don't you think? Really like it Benny, keep doing those walkabouts as they are obviously very inspiring.

Your choice of POV is very interresting and makes a nice picture. The second boat looks like a baby regarding the big one and I like the diagonale made by the bow, spliting the ociture in 2 parts

Another one from that underrated town of yours ;) And I like the dedication to both Captain Haddock and your city. The POV is really creative, getting the best out of both subjects and framing it well with the square crop. I also like the strong saturationa and the way you've managed the extremes of light and shade.
