Photographer’s Note
The Royal Palace in Brussels opens the gates once a year to give acces to the impressive greenhouses on the grounds. The visits are usually during the day but there are one or two nocturnes I would recommend.
The flora is wonderful and very diverse due to the fact that Congo used to be a colony. The architecture of the greenhouses alone is worth a visit. The largest is 60m across and 30m high.
The dusk outside just filtering in combined with the indoor lighting gave a wonderful view of the greenhouse roof. I know it's not dead-center thanks to some ridiculous plant (whoever had the idea to put plants in a greenhouse).
