[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
France holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the second half of 2008. In the building of Justus Lipsius, the official seat of the European Council, in Brussels, the French Presidency has provided its own touch of decoration. Here we see a giant ball, symbolizing Europe, with lines depicting the colours of the flags of the 27 EU member states. The ball is suspended from the ceiling. Here the photo was taken standing underneath the ball, with its image being mirrored opposite, in a giant mirror that has been set-up for the occasion.

Wow, Vicky it has a perfect composition. I like the transparency-joke. Many thanks for sharing, Jalab

Hi Vicky:

Bonjour Vicky,
J'aime beaucoup ce genre de photo.Un cadrage rapproché qui permet de voir en détail ces boules immenses. De très jolies couleurs douces et les personnages donnent une idée de la dimension de ces décorations.
Excellente journée

Very interesting graphic presentation of these decorations. I like the people at the bottom to give it scale and make it real. I would prefer more saturation and contrast to give it more impact.
I did a workshop and will post it tomorrow because my workshop limit is used up for today.
