To learn more about the countless stories about the Grand-Place,you'd better join a group led by an official guide.
But as long as you have a good map (and are able to hold it the right way),you can as well visit by your own!
In the background:some of the Corporation Houses surrounding the Place.

Good layering into approximate horizontal thirds with sky buildings & piazza. The people add scale & animate the scene. Good sharpness and vibrant colour. I like the right angled pov on the imposing bg buildings, too. Merci!

Good evening Fred,
Internet, smartphon's - not a maps for modern tourists... But you are right, no problem to get your way in a city like Brusseles, and the architecture's in view is most enlighting and fabulous work of masons.
Fine shot with excelent details and depth.

I like the combination of humor and beautiful architecture in this shot. You snapped at just the right moment to capture the two lonely tourists reading their map. They seem to be in a different world than the group. The buildings and cobblestone floor in this spot are really wonderful, too.

Jolie composition.

I'm not a fan of guided visits, I prefer walk alone and take photos. And than search by myself about the places I visit. But I like to see here this big group of tourists learning with the guide.
Beautiful architecture in the background.
