Photographer’s Note

Leaving Brussels on a clear day I had the chance to sit next to a clear window.
Zaventem airport is located N-E from the city. The view here just after take off shows what I assume is Vilvoord.

Hi Philippe, this picture from Vilvoord is absolutely splendid in view, it canal Brussels - Lovain or Charleroi give a nice field of vision, the cool towers with the smoke and the wings of the plane make a nice composition.

J'espère que tout se passe bien pour toi au Brésil, Philippe... Personnellement, j'ai pris la photo du même endroit lorsque je suis parti en vacances en mai pour mon circuit de Los Angeles au Mexique mais je n'ai pas vu Vilvorde du ciel... (Voir WS)
Enfin, c'est quand même différent quand le temps est très clair. La vue est splendide et bien cadrée avec l'aile. Bravo!

La netteté de cette image est incroyable. Surtout au travers un hublot. La composition avec les rivières ainsi que la centrale thermique est très réussi. Bravo.

This view from above is amazing.. the forst time I was on a plane I could admire the view, it was fascinating to me!
where were you going when you take this picture? did you take it with a digital camera? I wanted to take pictures of the city from a plne but I thought it wouldn't work.. but yours is very good :)
