Oh what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh... :)
This photo was taken in early March 2006 in a regular Belarusian village 60 km northwards from the capital Minsk. My guess is that it depicts a father taking his son back home from school.
Using horses for daily transportation is still very common in the country. |
