[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in the western Belarussian city of Hrodna which lies very close to Polish border. It has preserved much of its historical heritage despite the many years of Soviet rule.

This photo shows how the ancient and Soviet past of this marvellous city blend to produce a weird effect...

this subject is interesting but I think you could have found a better crop. That light isnīt so nice and the wires in front that church could be removed easily

Very interesting subject, Victor. nice colours and contrast in theme! This is a very typical WW2 monument for Soviets, I guess it was also pretty cheap to install a tank than craft a sculpture a new monument!
