Photographer’s Note
Before using any type of wood, Victor (a woodwoker, which we met in his small workshop in the Western Belarus) and his assistants were conferring. They considered , bented, tapped, listened the timber attentively and we even saw once - Victor has tasted a board! As the wine-taster! With pleasure!
Maybe it's really yummy - who knows))

Hello Dear Kristina,
I like this image by subdued light, creating more of a monochromatic atmosphere. The color of the brick is a perfect highlight for the carpenter working in the foreground.
In critiquing my last photo, "Ghosts of the Fallen," you mentioned your "...morning impressions" on Treklens.Imagine the surprise I had in seeing "Reading is Easy." Since I am not a member of Treklens (I barely have enough time for Trekearth), and cannot put it among my "favorites." But I did copy it and put it among my favorites on my computer. That is the most gracious and flattering gesture, my book, 'Math and the Mona Lisa,' emblazoned on the books she is reading. Without the dust jacket on the book, I did not initially recognize it. Incidentally, who is the reader of the book? Can you send me a higher resolution form of the photo to my email address, drbatalay@gmail.com Thank you, thank you, thank you...
Warmest regards,
Bulent
