Photographer’s Note

Father Kornel runs a Catholic mission in one of those towns. His fellow-missioner was in Poland at that time so Kornel hosted us in the mission, alone. That included preparing a breakfast for four...
He proudly presented his "office" with dozens old cameras (and other oldies) hanging on the wall. A photo-freak? You probably know the feeling...;-)

(The only photo I took during my trip to Belarus with other than 50mm lens)

Very good work due a good composition and a nice use of the light.
The exposure and the black and white look great too.

Lubie takie tematy i klimaty, po prostu czlowiek w swoim zyciowym kontekscie. Podoba mi sie konwersja, raz jeszcze. Troche za duzo okna i kaloryfera, jak na moj gust, ale reszta cacy. Buzia o poranku. Grazyna.

A fine shot of this man Jerzy, at home in the familiar surroundings of his office. The kind of shot for which the term "environmental portrait" was invented.
The cameras on the wall - a great detail. Man, he has more cameras than me!
