Photographer’s Note

On our way to Drahiczyn we pulled over and visited a small bazaar. Not much to see apart from that butchers' shop staffed with friendly people. Perhaps they were influenced by that "advert" behind them saying "Friendship"...
On the shelves - a limited selection of fresh meat...

Bardzo fajne, takie zyciowe i cieple, moze szkoda tylko, ze za blisko pan byl, azeby wage historyczna dla Europy w calosci okazac, ale to szczegol. Jej usmiech, jego gest pozegnalny dla "kogos" poza kadrem, to jest to.
Dobra konwersja, podoba mi sie.

There's a nice feel to this photo Jerzy, with the friendly faces in the old-style butcher's shop.
I wish you hadn't cropped the scales on the right - a small detail I know, but it does affect the harmony of the composition.
Good expressions and interesting details though - I like it.

Cudne. Te uśmiechy i pogoda ducha wobec ewidentnej mizerii wokół. Przypominają się dawne dobre (?) czasy w Polsce. I dowcip jak po japońsku jest rzeźnik - nagiehaki ;))) Wyrażam tylko żal, że waga (już jej nie uświeć w naszych sklepach) ciachnięta na korzyść brytfanki po lewej. Wolałabym odwrotnie. Ale to małe piwo - ot taki sentyment :))

Could be a nice retro ad for the Druzhba butchery... or a nice socialist representation of what a shop should look like... I like that weigh on the side... and the DOF... I didn't find this one in the Belarus gallery in your website, or maybe it's there somewhere (a little difficult to navigate, although there is some Spanish there...)... btw - nice to see some of your legendary gems there, including.. the.. the polska... you probably know which one...

No i cofnelo mnie te kilkadziesiąt lat do tylu...
Te puste ściany i haki... Ta pusta lada sklepowa z kawałkiem słoniny tu i owdzie...
Fartuch brudny jak nagla krew...
I ta waga co na nią nigdy nie czekała pani Sabinka sklepowa az sie strzałka uspokoi, tylko trach...Dwadzieścia deko i już !
