Photographer’s Note
This is the Wallfahrtskirche Frauenberg, a baroque Papagolfade that stands on top of a hill near Admont, it normally offers nice views due to its spectacular position within the mountains but given the nice austrian summer day I had I went for this close framing to get more color from the facade.

Salut Jean Yves,
I like this church! The facade is very interesting though I think the clocks are perhaps newer than the rest. Good perspective showing the full height and details of the building. Good colours and light. Thanks JY.

Hi Jean Yves,
Your sunday church looks nice, not only in colour, but also in the way how he stands there. The colourful flowers add some extra colour to the image in this grey dull looking sky...nice.
Have a nice sunday, Henk

Salut JY

Hi Jean Yves,
these nice colors as a contrast to the gray and dull weather really look great! The church stands out well against the gray sky and your vertical framing was the right decission. Sharpnes is excellent and so is your POV. A lovely shot, many thanskf ro sharing!

Hi JY,
You were not so lucky this time, in terms of blue sky :S
But how lucky to find this charming baroque papagolfade at the top of a hill. I like its color and how you managed to cope with barrel distortion. Very straight towers they are ;)
Cheers,
Deniz

Olá JY, amazing diferent facade for this church. I've never seen anything similar before. In such a grey day, that salmon color makes it stand out, but I believe that its shapes make it stand out even more, specially those tops of towers. Excellent perspective using the green lines of the cemetery.
have a nice sunday,

Hello, JY -
This photo is strangely two-dimensional, perhaps because only the facade of the church is visible (the bit of the side of the left tower doesn't really count). I find it intriguing.
The subdued colors are also nice.
Best,
Dan

Hello Jean-Yves,

It is a lovely image of a rather strange building, JY. I am interested to hear that it is Baroque in style, because it has none of the classical detail, the flowing lines and the rich ornamentation that we associate with that period. However, is see that the interior is full of rich Baroque decoration. I though it was a model of a church , in Lego perhaps, perhaps. Are the two clocks on the towers an example of German efficiency, so that we can be doubly sure of the time? I like the placement just off center and the colours are lovely.Whatever the style and location, JY always manages to produce a perfect image. Regards Kevin

Bonjour, cher Jean-Yves,

Hi JY
Very clean and crisp colours despite the grey day as you say. The church rises high into the sky which shows stunning features especially the domes. Well managed despite the lighting JY. See you around

Hi JY,
here you got nice pastel tones, including the sky. And, tell me the secret, you use the transform-option in PS to get all lines vertical, and not a tilt and shift-lense ?
Cheers Chris

Salut JY

Hello Jean Yves,
aha, how to solve a situation different from our original conception - special thanks for the note. Finally you could paint a beautiful Baroque church with small but colourful cemetery placed into the heaven. I suspect the result is better than it would have been at bright weather since it tells more of the function and atmosphere of this complex. Never worse solution of any unwaited situation!
Congratulations
Laszlo
