Modern architecture in Graz Photo

Photographer’s Note

I captured this modern building from a POV in a terrace in Schlossberg, the hill 473 m high over Graz down town.

I noticed that town administration didn't care to have such a high building standing much over the other ones. There is also anothe famous building, Modern art museum, that breaks urban old shape.

Look in my WS the picture before I cut it, to see the building and its surroundings. I joked cutting the photo the way you see!

Strano questo edificio imponente vicino a queste casette basse, bellissimi i riflessi, ci voleva un po' piu' di definizione.

Dedicata agli amanti della geometria (come me). Linee precise e diritte, non male i colori, sa di particolare di un'immagine piu' grande. Sbaglio?

vedo che certi mostri di cemento (tali mi sembrano i palazzoni vicino alle case basse) non esistono solo da noi.
Mal comune... insomma, dobbiao rassegnarci!?

anche quella e´interessante, ma il museo mi piace di piu´... in ognis caso, tu hai catturato molto bene il contrasto tra le vecchie case tradizionali e quella moderna.

Very impressive modern architecture in Graz, a real giant between the old buildings of this beautiful city that now is changing toward modernization, unfortunately!.
Very well captured from a high POV. Good colors and sharpness.

I like this shot, the focus is a little soft, but the dynamic with the windows in the building is great, plus it shows very well the size of both buildings, good POV
