Photographer’s Note

This is a third photo from Ischgl, taken south west of the village wher you could take a walk or go cross-country skiing along the small river Trisanna that flows through the village. Ischgl is a ski resort in the Paznaun Valley in Tyrol. It is a rather small village with a population of about 1500 people. It is situated at height of 1377 meters.

This image or shot or photograph is quite something
stuning light and compo the sloped wood struts in the foreground seems like a ancient boat

Hi Ulf,

I think your approach of this scene is typical Scandinavian. Not only the focus on the impressive landscape, but also attention for the human aspect in the neighbourhood. An attitude I like very much.

Another wonderful snowscene Ulf. I am impressed at how well your camera handles the exposure of the bright snow under the sun. I like the way you have composed the image by finding a foreground element in the shape of the hut to give depth to the scene just as the tiny person is also an important part of the composition.
