Photographers Note
Shot in front of the Hofburg palace. The man repeated his skateboard jumps for the photographer to shoot. I wish I could see the jump from her perspective, even if lying flat on the ground doesn't seem comfortable at all... My camera shot from the ground as well (thanks to vari-angle display there was no need to hug the ground), but I was not close enough to them, to catch the man seem flying high in the sky.
=====

Hello Joanna,
I fond it funny to see people in Europe using skateboards as I always thought this to be a North American way of life. The way you captured this action is very effective because it seem to reflect on the photographer laying down and capturing the action. Interesting perspective with good sharpness. Thanks Joanna.

Hello Joanna,
I like your low POV, even if you didn't manage to get the man against the sky. It's a bit funny to see a skateboarder in this very orderly environment, as they are usually associated with graffiti and dreary suburban centres. But is he actually jumping this high out of nowhere, or is there a slope of some kind just outside the picture?
Regards,
Gert

Dzien dobry Joanna,
these guys are really sporty!
furthermore...I usually link skateboard with modern urban landscapes and not with Hofburg garden...therefore I find you pic very funny and nice!
pozdrawiam

first I want to say that the background is lovely and would compliment any type of action or non-action taking place in the front. what you actually got here is an interesting skateboarding&photography performance that contrasts nicely with the rather mild surrounding mood, but the effect might be better if i)the flying guy didn't mix with the background and/or ii)Joanna was confident enough to get closer and ask for permission to take a shot or two from a less 'snapshotish' angle ;)
