What a beautiful landscape, George.
Amazing colors especially that of the lake. If the lake was full of ice we would lose this lovely colour. Wonderful terrain, rich in wild rocky mountains! I imagine the sunsets or the sunrises there.

Szia George,
in the right hotel (Piz Buin) I had a second breakfast some years ago on the terrace in the warm sunlight in January. Just great to be there. Wonderful view in good colours and sharpness. You also got some nice clouds for a pleasant sky. I added one old from me as a workshop to show the snow there in January 2006 in a funny way.

I have seen it in summer only, but here it gets some added winter value from the snow and a bit of the typical emerald green to be seen, it seems unlikely though that you got there on skis, was the road already open that early ?

Congratulation for 400 images at TE but I go for Nr.399.
Viewing the thumbnail I thought it`s Bolivia,because of the green tones of the frozen lake:same color as Laguna Verde.
A good shot ,well composed with the resting person in the corner,and good natural colors.
