Hi George,
Very good use of the road to lead the eye further into the composition and the landscape and towards the mountains. The road is well placed too, starting on the right hand side. I like the contrast of the foreground with only less snow and the background with much snow. Well seen and captured!

it definitely is an outstanding scene. You composed this scenery cleverly, with a foreground interest of the leading road and the coming cloud over the peaks is a fine eye catcher in the frame. Nicely rendered colours (especially whites), well exposed.

This place is beautiful. The rugged mountains add a dramatic touch to this view and the road is almost an invitation to come here. Good perspective with the house placed within the frame to allow for an interesting focal point in the foreground. Thanks George...I heard Pentax is replacing their K10D with a K20D and 14.6mp resolution.

A magnificent point of view looking down the road as it snakes it way through the mountains. The positioning of the building in the left foreground adds depth to the overall scene along with the stone posts. Some very pleasing tonal contrasts.

again thanks for this view with less snow as the snowy version is familiar to me. But I think this is nice in each season. The soft foreground slopes and the rocks in the background have their own thing to attract us. Good depth by the road.
