that is nice, you have also been there. It is a very nice place in my eyes with all those peaks around and the fresh air. You had that in melting time of spring, but you describe very well the winter condition. Good POV along the wall of the lake and the light is fine.

Geroge,
Your composition and POV are great using the bridge to lead the eye into the shot and to give the shot nice depth and direction. The mountain on the right forms a nice diagonal guiding the eye to the icy lake. The lighting and colors are fine with excellent sharpness and DOF. The people on the bridge give a nice sense of scale to the scene.
