[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had to wait some time not to capture an empty lift because of two reasons. It was early enough for less skiers and the t-bar lift to the "Burg" is not a preferred one. You can go down with the easy Number Two and go again for the "Burg", you can do the same and cross some deep snow to reach the Number One. Last time I saw there a snow boarder who lost his board in the deep snow and it took him some minutes to dig it out. The other chance is the middle challenging Number Six back to the mountain station of the Versettla, a bit above the red cabin of the ski school. Both routes cross the lift and you have to be careful and the Number Six is partly very narrow and steep, you see it here at the right side of the lift. But using the Number Six is the easiest way to come back to the level of the mountain station as the "Spatla" is lower.

Hi Ulf,
Good viewpoint showing sun and shadow. The path out of the skitrack adds interest and so does the skilift. Beautiful view with wintersports feeling.

Hallo Ulf,
Nice perspective you found here with the tracks in the snow which leads us to the valley below. Light and shadow are nice presented and good exposed. Those people add nice detail and scaling for this area....seems you had a wonderful time overthere.
Regards, Henk

Hello Ulf,
A very pretty composition of this lovely mountain scenery captured in the depths of winter. Great clarity throughout. The feet marks in the snow make a good lead-line for the eyes.

Good long view , super your position for taking post. Good colour ,and clean shot
Bravo Réal.

Ich bervorzuge die Nummer 0, ein schöner Platz mit einem warmen Tee :-)
Viele Grüße
Achim

Guten Mittag Ulf,

You play wonderful with shadows and light.
The tracks in snow care for a good perspective and lead us to the background.
Here we see no winter alone a spring periode during the winter, 12°C this on January 21, incredible.
Very composition and good note too.
Thanks for sharing.

Lieben Gruss,
John.

Hi Ulf. You give quite a lot of practical info for those who go skiing there. You could recommend things in a information brochure for the place. And you have the good pictures to go with it. This year I probably go skiing for the first time in my life and quite honestly I'm a bit afraid of hights... I'm curious how this will end. Thanks for the nice view; it's a litte "avant ski" for me; a flash of what is coming. And I must say that I like the landscape.

Hello Ulf,
the vertical format is perfectly suitable, and the quite selected point of view to accentuate the effect of the slope. Beautiful image of mountain and winter holidays.
Have a nice day
Cordially

Gute Nacht.

Hi Ulf,
A great view down the mountain slope with some people as small dots in the snow. Well balanced between dark and light parts and good choice for a vertical format. Well done!

Hallo Ulf,
I don't need for apologising for being bluntly honest. I began by writing that it looked like a tourist snapshot, but then I decided that it was too much. After all, I note a clever and nice compo, with the tracks on the snow making an Y that "embraces" the hill and leads the eye to the mountain of the FG. The exposure adjustment and control is remarkable and the view is gorgeous. But... I feel that something is missing to give it some punch... A clear focal point, like a a person closer by or anything would help much taking away the "snapshot appearance".
Um abraço, José.

Hi Ulf

Another superb shot of the skifields, with good fg shadow detail, & superb sharpness. A marvellous blue sky, & superb lighting contrasts. Tfs!

Hi Ulf,
The background mountain is just ideal to give a scene a nice contrast from the white snow. Lovely day to go skiing with not much people in the slopes. Well captured scene with good resulting image quality. Well done! tfs

Hi Ulf!
I like this format here, it lets us see the tracks on the snow and those people that seem really small comparing to the mountain. A really winter photo but it seems you had nice weather and a greta sky:)

Hi Ulf,
nice composition of the scenery, beautiful winter image, nice colors, sharp and detailed.

Hello Ulf,
We can see that the sunny side of the valley has a lot less snow! Good POV here down the slope, as if we were going to ski it down... Exposure is well controlled with both highlights and shadows clearly detailed.
