Hello Ulf,

Night skiing is very nice. Skiing under a full moon and guided by lights or torches is one awesome experience. I think the bright light in the middle is not distracting in any way here. It does though create a nice contrast of warm light against the blue tones of the snow. Good work.

Dein Experiment and result ist erstaunlich nach die paar Drinks.
Die HDR Arbeit gibt hier von Hintergrund zu sehen und das Starke Licht zu vermildern so weit bis das Effekt schien ist und nicht störend.

Hello Ulf,
My daughter and her husband go skiing every year, so far as I can make out they seem to spend more time in the local bars than on the pistes ;-) This is an excellent composition with perfect exposure. The light and shadow contrasts are excellent with the detail in both areas well captured. Some lovely atmospheric tones and quite superb clarity. Magnificent photo work.

PS my post of yesterday was a stitch, well spotted!

I hope you didn't have too many shnapss! A difficult exercise you found here, the snow at night with artificial light! Although the colors look different (did you shoot RAW? if yes the white balance can change things...) I actually like the effect and contrast between the blue of the dark parts and the yellow orange of the lit areas...

The effect on the spotlight was very good and unusual, it attracts the attention. The backgrounds loks a little fade, but the overal result is still very nice.

A wonderful photo with an amusing title. It's clear that you had a fine time there and it's kind of you to hsare it with us. You did a remarkable job with the exposure control. The yellow light, the bluish snow in the dark and the trees make a nice colour contrast and visual arrangement.

Hi Ulf,

Beautiful almost mysterious late evening atmosphere. The combination of blue and yellow has associations with the Swedish flag. The high fir trees with Sweden, still I realize that this is Austria.
