Hello Ulf.
A wonderful, sharp and well exposed shot. I like the viewpoint very much, and the curves and shadows. It has an under-exposed look, but I think that is fine in this shot as it preserves so much detail in the snow. The skiers give the shot a touch of dynamism. That blurry one must have been going very fast.

Hello Ulf,

The sky has a nice dep blue I am used to see above glaciers. The expsure in ths image is very good as the snow appear white and clean. Good perspective with the skiers showing size amid this section of snow trails. 114 kms sound like a lot of runs to cover. Nice work Ulf :-)

Hello Ulf,
Some nice light and shadow play for this wintry composition. The red jackets of the skiers stand out nicely against the white snow. Good point of view looking up the winding piste. Very good tones and sharpness.

Hallo Ulf,
Hut ab vor diesem Bild! Gute Komposition mit schönen Proportionen, sogar der blanke Schnee wirkt interessant dank den Linien, die die Skiläufer hinterließen. Am schönsten ist aber die meisterhafte Behandlung der extremen Hochberglichter. (Ich vermute eine sorgfältige Nachbearbeitung hier, da eine so breite Dynamik kann doch auch Canon nicht haben!) Der fast schwarze Himmel zeigt, wie rein dort die Luft war. (Der Polarisationsfilter alleine hätte einen so starken Effekt nicht erzeugen können.) Und die drei Skiläufer waren so nett, für heitere Farbflecken zu sorgen. Kurz: sehr gut gelungen!

Hi Ulf,

Perfect picture with beautiful light and colors and wonderful composition. Its nice to see the sky paths drawing on the with snow. Nice that the skiers have red clothes, it really add a good contrast and attracts the attention to them.

Das sind also diese Autobahnen, über die ich mich im Sommer immer so aufrege - an Versettla und Hochjoch! ;-) Das unglaublich grelle Licht hast Du gut gemeistert, interessant, wie der Himmel fast schwarz wird. Das Spiel von Licht und Schatten, auch in den Skispuren ist grandios! Naja, ab 5.7. schau ich mir das mal wieder an ...

That's a lot of snow here! and funny how so many off-tracks on the slopes there! It also gives great graphism... Light is fine with snow well exposed, with polarizer giving nice contrast. Crisp details and good colors.

It seems you had a great time and perfect weather with a lot of snow. I like the strong curve on the track, but best part is the blur on the person in the back, that adds some speed in the image which is essentiel in such pictures. Great exposure with strong contrast...i like that a lot.

Love the strong light/shade contrast of this winter view! The snow is very well exposed and its shining texture is well rendered. good capture of the skiers adding animation to the scene. I also like the polariser effect.

Taking care of two vices of the healthy kind at once: the sky and the photography, hmmm?! :D
The POV/framing is very well done, with the tracks, sign, slopes, shadows and skiers very nicely placed. Is it common to have so few people there or was it very low season?

A scene that reminds me of my trip to finland a couple of winters back.I must admit I do miss the snow.You've handled the contrast here very well.Amazing how the skiers have left the criss-cross patern in the snow.Take care and dress warm.

Very good POV on this ski slope! Really wants you make to be there , sliding down. It looks easy! ( I am far from being an expert at skiing! ) I like the neat track bordered by the mounds criss-crossed by skiing trails; I also like the contrast between the sunlit slope and the bluish one on the left! All this against the deep-blue sky, obtained through under-exposure I suppose.
Well, I see you seemed to get better snow this year than you did last year! I hope you enjoyed your holiday!
