This is a photograph taken of the impressive Dachstein mountains near the village of Ramsau-am-Dachstein in central Austria (approx. 1-2 hours drive from Salzburg).
The photograph is taken from near the top of a winding road from the village up to the base of the mountains. I love the way the hut had been clad in old tree bark.
The peaks in the picture are around 2,800m in height, and the photograph was taken from a height of approx. 1,600m. |
