The Bielerhöhe Adventure begins at the Vermuntbahn in Partenen. From there it continues from Trominier in small buses through tunnels and the lofty mountain landscape of the Silvretta up to the Bielerhöhe at 2032 m. There, visitors are treated to incredible views of the gigantic mountain world including Piz Buin, at 3312 metres the highest mountain in Vorarlberg. Lake Silvretta lies at the heart of this breathtaking panorama. After the end of january it is covered with a thick layer of snow and ice that entices the visitor to go cross-country skiing on superbly prepared courses. In addition, the Bielerhöhe is an ideal starting point for a wonderful number of tours through the Silvretta region, the largest touring area in the province.

Amazing compo, George. The wondeful mountain in the background and the girl runing to there in the endless road results great.

Well done, friend.

Paulo

George, absolutely awesome, and while not a post card in itself it sure makes me want to send one from there. Great capture as usual.

Greg

This is a wonderful landscape. Great colours, excellent sharpness and details, a very nice composition. I love the curves of the road leading the eye.
Best wishes,
Achim

:))
When i see this kind of photos, i always wonder where the exhausted poor figure is walking to. You have depicted the place in such an awesome desolation that, i can easily imagine her walking for days and nights, leading to an unknown place located at the back of the mountains. Of course depth and perspective adds a lot to this effect, thanks to the road and the tiny figure, and the small cottage and the giant mountains. TFS,
Have a nice weekstart :)

What a amazing breathtaking vista with the wonderful human figure in the middle that gives us a great sense of depht. The curves of the road to infinity also help to obtain this sense that is a very strong visual line. Great job ihsan

Bonjour George,
une photo qui montre que la marche est encore longue sur cette route qui serpente au loin. Un magnifique paysage que la neige semble ne pas vouloir abandonner.
Il y a de la profondeur; magnifique paysage alpin.
Bien à toi.
Daniel.

Hallo George!
You are making me envious! ;-)
Your picture shows the summit of the Hochmaderer, 2823 meters, where I stood some years ago. A wonderful photo - but it shows that there wasn't very much snow this winter. Montafon is a lovely place ...
Greetings from Germany!
Frank

I totally envy you, George! A wonderful picture in a region of my own country I had never visited! Now that I am living in Canada, chances are slim to none that I will ever make it there, though I plan a Vienna trip for next year.
Cheers
Otto

Lovely picture, my friend !
I like this landscape with snow and warm weather. The woman walking is a great detail. Excellent colours and sharpness.
TFS and greetings

Good colors and light.
Have a nice day. Uğur

Hi George,
Could well have been Switzerland, superb mountaineous landscape. The winding mountain road and the girl walking along it adds a kind of romanticm. In this hot hot Indian summer, its a pleasure viewing this:)

Hi George,
great landscape and view, interesting idea for this pov with roads to give depth at your shot, good effect with also the walker.

Hi George,

Gorgeous image my friend, you managed to create an excellent perspective, the highway creates a great depth and the woman is an essential element in this work, when I watch this image desire to walk until mountains of background, it is a good work, congratulations.

Regards
José

Hi George ,
Wow , what a great place to take a walk in the afternoon! I like your pov looking at the walker in front of you..and those beautiful mountains! great shot . ..TFS

Thanks for your comments on my photo " Whirlpool Aero Car (16)" :o)

The inclusion of the woman makes this George. The scenery in Austria is breathtaking and was knocked out by it and this is a fine example of Austian Alps. It also amazed me how clean they keep the streets, free of litter. It's a disgrace over here!
Best regards
Mark

A beautiful landscape. I like the road stretching to the infinity, and the lonely person walking in the middle of it.
It gives a nice perspective.
regards Stefano
