Photographer’s Note

Another picture from my Easter holidays.
This shot was taken from the cable car between the base station at Hinterglemm (Westgipfel), shortly before arriving at the summit.
Approximate height was 2000m.

In my WS you can see another similar image taken a few seconds later.

Hi Liliana,

-Somehow I like your Workshop better.

Wonderful sky, gives a good contrast to the snowy ground. Good details, how you can see the textures of the ski-tracks. Nice shot.

Hi Liliana, One of my favourite sports, & a beautiful photo like this makes me envious, the sky is beautiful & you have managed the light very well indeed, great POV looking up the slop with the people coming down, with the mountains on the right it makes a spectaculer view, kind regards Wilson.

Hello Liliana,
You show snow-covered, winter-sceneries under the blue sky while at us only the similar sky one, and round vernally and very colourfully. Very the nicely composed picture, the excellent colouring of the sky and the superbly shown white of the snow. Expertly the shown climate of this place.

nice to see some winter-photos at 28°C here in cologne, liliana! :-)
good view along the slope with nice lines from the skiers.
i have to admit, i like the WS-photo a little bit more,
the slope looks more "framed" with the trees on both sides.

Very Good picture of this valley's, good framing and good action there, Blue sky and snow always attract me. Sky-Tracks is very intresting and people coming down is superb.

Wonderful blue sky contrast nicely with the white snow with its lovely patters left by the skiiers. The beautiful peaks to the right are a thoughtful addtion to this beauty.

Hi Lili,
I'm not sure I ever skied with a motor, let's call it an expressway ;-)
Quite a large and easy slope you're showing there and even if they are tiny I can see the 2nd skier has more problems to come down judging by the position. And on the side I can see there was still not much snow, at least enough to ski and under this fine blue sky it must have been a real pleasure i guess... had fun ?

Your Austria photos are so wonderful. Especially since the weather here has been 37c and above all week. I really like this one. The view, the ski run with the neat patterns, the skiers for scale.
