Its a very interesting view Denny in which composition turns out to be nearly perfect but something is going on wrongly with the lighting treatment , that focus or overexposition that burns the background in that image ...Maybe if you had gone not "against" the light but taking the picture from the very opposite way you would have avoided that overexposition and perhaps have got some luminosity over the statued fointain placed at the foreground
