Photographer’s Note

Behind Mayrhofen towards the east, you enter in the Zillergrund, a quieter region, only quotas of tourists are allowed here.

On top of it lies an artificial lake to which you can go by foot or bus (I took the bus); and 500 meters above the lake, you can visit (only by foot this time) the wonderful Plauener Hütte.
This picture is taken about midway between lake and refuge, looking to the impressive summits here around.

On the left, the Kuchelmooskopf, 3215 m and in the middle, the Reichenspitze, 3302 m .

It was a typical mountain day: blue sky in the morning, and more and more cloudy, but just fine for that tour; and of course, Kaiserschmarrn at the refuge ;o)

Hi Didier, good capture of that peak, with amazing colours on the rocks in the foreground and good quality, light and tones on the mounts and the sky.

Superbe scan et l'effet de cet objectif était surtout interressant avec ton F100. le paysage est top mais la neige au fond a la limite du cramé. Bon, c'est blanc la neige ! Faut pas être désolé pour les noms compliqués, le fran,çais c'est pas évident no plus pour les germanophones.

I like your POV for this photo. The foreground is interesting with the rock formations, and the ridge draws your attention "into" the image. Very sharp as well.
However, I think it´s a bit overexposed. I think a little bit of overall darkening would benefit this image. Otherwise, very nice :)

J'aime bien les trainées que fait la roche en s'effritant en laissant des taches éparssent de vert avce la cerise sur la gateau les sommets enneigés.

Voici donc les -kopf et -spitz promis! Bon, je passerai sur les noms à coucher dehors et me contenterai de dire que c'est une photo que j'aurais pu faire avec ces rochers recouverts de lichens au premier plan et cette grande profondeur de champ. La neige au fond est limite surex, mais c'est tout de même un scan de grande qualité et je te remercie pour ce bol d'air matinal.

Jolie vue de ces montagnes et un scan de toute bonne qualité.
J'aime beaucoup ces différences de teintes entre terre, mousse et neige, le tout sous un joli ciel.

Composition and colours are superb, we can see the relief of the mountain hills, also the a few snow at the top gives a excellent view, the light and your choice for a vertical frame make this picture a very attractive. Very well done!

Bonjour, Didier. Un très bon avant-plan avec ces cailloux couverts de lichens. Le sentier nous fait entrer dans l'image et nous dirige vers les sommets de l'arrière-plan (la Tête de Mousse de Cuisine et la Pointe de l'Empire, je traduis pour les francophones ;o)). Une belle lumière et des couleurs naturelles.

Pas mal ta Pfaffspitzenkopf, je trouve bien d'avoir combine ces rochers de premier plan au cadrage vertical pour obtenir une bonne profondeur. Je partage l'avis que la neige est un poil chaude, et suivant l'ecran sur lequel je la regarde, j'ai l'impression qu'elle est un poil trop sharpenisee, mais comme la je suis sur l'ecran a deux balles du boulot, tout va bien ;-)

Hi Didier - the scenery is magnificent, and good compositionally as well with the stone patterns in the foreground, I would decrease the overall brightness a little.

J'avais loupé celle-ci. Très belle image de montagne, j'aime beaucoup l'utilisation du grand angle avec l'inclusion de l'avant plan qui dirige bien le regard par le chemin vers les sommets du fond. Juste le fond peut-être un peu surex...
