Hundertwasser-House in Vienna
1977-1986

An unusual house that does not correspond to the usual clichees and norms of academic architecture; a house conceived and designed by a painter , an adventure in modern times, a journey to an unknown land , a journey into the land of creative architecture where there are window rights and tree tenants and uncontrolled irregularities, uneven floors, woodlands on the roof , spontaneous vegetation and barriers of beauty, a journey into the land where nature and man meet . The first free house, a painter dreams about houses and a beautiful architecture in which man is free.

I agree with the note. It is pleasing visually to see a form of architecture that rejects conformity. Even more of an insight that such a place is actually functional and inhabited by people. The use and arrangement of tiles are particularly unusual.

İlginç bir yapı degişik renkler elinize sağlık .

Bu rengarenk gerçekten sıradışı bina ile,yaşamımın en güzel gezilerinden birini anımsattınız,çok teşekkürler.6yıl önce Kokpit prog.dan Viyana uçak bileti kazanmıştım,klasik müzik meraklısı ecz.arkadaşım bana eşlik etti ve biz iki hanım tam 8 gün ,akşamları konserler, gündüzleri müzeler saraylar ünlü kafeler, parklar, meydanlar, sokaklar derken Viyananın gezmedik yerini bırakmamıştık.Tabii burasıda eksik kalmayıp, girişteki kafede çay sefası yapmıştık.Sağolun, sayenizde yeniden gezmiş kadar oldum.

Merhaba Mesut Bey,
Çok ilginç bir mimari.Eklektik bir tarz.Bana Anadolu'daki kırk yamalı bohça tabirini anımsattı.Güzel bir paylaşım teşekkürler.

Mesut Bey,

Çok ilginç bir mimari. Oldukça estetik. Az gelen ışığın oluşturduğu gölgeler harika olmuş.
Selamlar

This is the first time I have seen this house. I find it interesting. It came to mind one of the essays on art by Tolstoy.

"Every work of art causes the receiver to enter into a certain kind of relationship both with him who produced, or is producing, the art, and with all those who, simultaneously, previously, or subsequently, receive the same artistic impression."

"The activity of art is based on the fact that a man, receiving through his sense of hearing or sight another man's expression of feeling, is capable of experiencing the emotion which moved the man who expressed it."

There appears to be a measure of subjectivity in understanding and appreciation of works of art. Unlike a gothic cathedral, the very presence of which conveys an immediate feeling of awe and awareness of art, modern architecture is probably one of those artistic forms that do not readily reveal itself to a "receiver" of art."

Only time will tell wether we will develop any connection with this structure. TFS.

Merhaba Mesut,
Really nice this building and your photo. It's vaguely reminiscent of the works of Spanish/Catalonian architect Gaudi, which buildings are one of the main atractions of Barcelona.
It's a pitty the low sharpness (result of a bad scan?).
TFS, Regards, José.

Merhaba Mesut bey,
muhteşem bir mimari çalışması, renkler de açı da çok başarılı,
ellerinize sağlık,
nilgün
