[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In this shot from the Belvedere garden in Vienna I have played both the long lines that are formed by paths, hedges and edges of the lawns, and included people in my composition by taking the photo from postition behind the benches. The Belvedere was built in the 1800th century by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt as a summer place for Prince Eugene of Savoy Commander in Chief of the Imperial Army during the war against the Turks. The Belvedere consists of two palaces the Lower and the Upper Belvedere. The both palaces are connected by a french style garden.

What an amazing sight, and how Viennese, each bench with a single girl taking precisely the same pose. And middleaged woman on the right wearing those clothes that now seem to exist only in Austria.

Hi Ulf,
Great composition with good use of lighting and excellent DOF. Good framing to hightlight this Belvedere.
Regards
Jean-Louis

great pov to bring the nice perspective view in your pic. excellent geomerical effects. also good use of lights. tfs.

regards,
arjun

Hi Ulf, What a clever one is this. Your PoV is absolutely vital here cause it indeed adds to enticement of the lines and the perspective but also put distance between you as the photographer and the scene, which adds a kinda analytical touch to this capture. This is very good and graphically pleasing. Into my favs.
Have a fine weekend,
Bert

My wife is moaning next to me: to be there again! She misses it as much as I do, Ulf. TFP - May, the exact right time to visit Vienna: Festwochen and all, nice weather and light tourist traffic.
Cheers
Otto
