St.Wolfgang lake Photo

Photographer’s Note

A postcard from the St. Wolfgang lake, in the neighborhood of Salzburg.
I was here to partecipate at the annual run (almost 30km) around the lake.
The autumnal atmosphere was very well visible and, in the night, the surprise of the first snow over the surrounding mountains: a spectacular morning!
It's possible to reach the peak of the mount here visible using a little, very romantic red/black train (in fact, a rack-rail)... next time i will try it.

Hi Giorgio,
Indeed a postcard, Giorgio. I like the crisp autumn tones to this shot and the reflections in the water. The wispy clouds really enhance and one can also see the dash of colour on the distant mountain. Well composed and framed. A tranquil scene.

Bell'immagine Giorgio. Indubbiamente uno dei più bei laghi del Salzkammergut (oltre ad essere uno dei più pubblicizzati).
Bella prospettiva con i colori autunnali degli alberi a farla da padrone.
Bravo!

Hai detto bene è proprio una cartolina, bellissimo paesaggio Giorgio, dagli splendidi colori autunnali, con quelle candide nuvolette bianche a "guarnire" i monti come la panna fà con le torte per renderle più appetitose, ottimo lavoro, bravo!!!

Nice shot of this very idyllic landscape in fall colours. Maybe a little bit too centered, but with no importance to the final result.

The thin cloud over the trees works very well inside your composition. Very nice ppicture with beautiful colours and perfect lighting. The framing is also great. Splendid work!

bella foto, con ottimi colori, una bella luce e splendidi riflessi autunnali.
la nube che vaga a mezza montagna è molto bella e mi ricorda quelle del Lago Maggiore...onnipresenti!

...30 km di corsa....io mi sa che potrei al massimo fare lo starter o quello con il megafono che sbuca dall'ammiraglia!!!

Beautiful postcard from Zinkenbach.Super composition with the clouds hanging between the slopes of the mountains, excellent autumnal colors , nice reflections in the lake's water. Very well done.

Ah, come mi piace questo luogo...ci sono andata spesso, anche quando ero piccola. Bella cartolina! I colori che riflessono nell'aqua, le nuvole - bellissimo!
