Photographer's Note

The Lesachtal is a quiet valley in the Austrian state of Carinthia. It is the uppermost part of the valley formed by the Gail River, and stretches from the border between East Tyrol and Carinthia to Kötschach-Mauthen (alt. 705 m).

In East Tyrol the valley dug by the Gail River is called the Tilliach valley. The Lesachtal valley borders the Lienzer Dolomite mountains and the Gailtal Alps to the north, and the Karnisch Alps to the south. Most settlements and paths are over 300 meters above the bottom of the valley.

Early september is still summertime ! We can see that in this beautiful green valley , with the well maintained meadows . The red bell tower is eye catching .

La valle trasmette la pace della mente e il silenzio, come se solo potessimo ascoltare il cinguettio degli uccelli e il tintinnio di campane di animali che pascolano su prati verdi..
Grande prospettiva di questo bellissimo posto, con composizione eccellente e un cielo magnifico.

Ciao Alessandro, Beautiful broad panorama of this valley. The curves are the secret here. They make the entire view noteworthy. I am alluding to the pastures, the way the landscape appears to turn toward the village and then the curves in the mountains in the background. I would be remiss if I did not mention the bright red steeple of the village church. Very well done. Regards, Roger

Hi Alex!The angle of your shot works well adding depth to the scene. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has fine sharpness The details of village provide a nice backdrop for the well look of landscape! I specially enjoyed the vertical format, the chosen, the composition and the soft light and colors!

This is another lovely landscape, beautiful valley bounded by equally impressive backdrop with dotted houses in white creating a fine contrast. Nice pov with great depth and beautiful blue sky. Crispy sharpness and adequate clarity. Excellent color saturation and contrast. A satisfying shot, Congrats, TFS
