Photographer’s Note

My photo was taken in the Austrian village Partenen, situated in an altitude of more than 1000 metres in the state Vorarlberg. Winter there necessitates elaborate preparations. This young man certainly will appreciate a warm sitting room in winter much more than one who uses the thermostatic valve of his central heating ...

There's a lot to do!

Bonjour Frank,
un sujet 100% TE, traité avec beaucoup de simplicité et ausi de réussite. On ne peut pas vraiment parler de graphisme, mais les rondins de bois donnent bien avec leur profusion.

mit der Maschine (Husquarna 353) geht das ruck zuck, die habe ich nämlich auch.. ;-))
schöne Aufnahme mit ausgezeichneter Schärfe und gutem Blickwinkel.. macht richtig Spaß zuzusehen.. (ich hör den Sound...)

Hallo Frank. Ein gutes dokumentarisches Foto über die frühen Vorbereitungen für das winterliche Heizmaterial. Der Ärmste hat ja noch einen Haufen Arbeit vor sich. Die Rot- und Brauntöne des Holzes schaffen jedenfalls schon mal eine "wärmende" Stimmung. Gut eingefangen.

I don't like the title... ;-), otherwise it's a fine picture with a lot of logs and a nice traditional hat on the young man's head.. An amusing picture with fine colours and sharpness.

mir gefällt es sehr gut, dass du in letzter Zeit vermehrt auch Menschen zeigst, wie diesen jungen Mann bei der Arbeit... der hatte ja wohl noch einige Zeit zu tun, wenn er disen ganzen Berg an Holz noch aufgearbeitet hat... :) Schön auch, dass man im Hintergrund etwas von der Umgebung sieht.

diesen Haufen Holz hat er im letzten Winter sicher gut gebrauchen können. War ja wirklich lange genug kalt. Nette Aufnahme mit schönen Farben und gutem Kommentar dazu.
