Photographer’s Note

An isolated farmhouse above the Brenner(o) Pass, the lowest mountain pass crossing the Alps (1374 m). The house is on Austrian territory, the border to Italy is somewhere on the right of the house, my POV was in Italy (see map).

As you can see the border is not visilble :-) Luckily borders inside Europe are getting less and less sensible in many ways... so this house is not on a border but in the middle of Europe...

Hello Guenther,
A nice and cute mountain scenery, green slopes forming various layers going gently to this small house.
Maybe the light was not optimum and I would have adjusted the levels a bit to give it more vibrance?

Une image de montagne sans élément extraordinaire , et pourtant merveilleuse . Prés fauchés , forêts , rochers et le chalet , s'accordent dans une superbe harmonie .
J'aime bien la lumière aussi .

mi piace il tuo scatto, il verde è saturo e la composizione ben fatta. Anche la resa del bianco della casa è ottenuta bene. La cosa più bella penso siano le linee degli alberi che seguono sinuose gli avvallamenti del terreno.

superbe vue de ce bvallon, avec la belle ferme chalet, pierre et bois, elle elle seule au milieu de la végétation, cela ressemble beaucoup à la suisse de merveilleux décoar, c'est normal, c'est les Alpes, superbe.

forse i nostri nonni che hanno combattuto per questi confini sarebbero felici di vedere che non esistono piu' e ormai e' tutta europa, questa mi sembra una grande conquista civile.
