Photographer's Note
Daylight touching the Ahorn, the most dominant peak of the Zillertaller Alps you can see from the village of of Mayrhofen. Mayrhofen is the largest village in Zillertal. Situated at the junction of four valleys it offers a wide range of walks from gentle rambles through meadows to lofty mountain ascents. The surrounding mountains offer spectacular scenery with snow-covered peaks, deep blue lakes, glaciers and acres of alpine flowers. Excellent public transport and an extensive network of cable-cars and chairlifts enable everyone to enjoy the high mountain scenery.
Taken in the vicinity of my "privatzimmer". A privatzimmer is a room in a private home ... in my case it is a working farm house with beautiful red geranium by the windows and balconies. Apple trees and a few cows decorate the yard. I took a walk while the lady of the house was preparing breakfast ... a hearty breakfast that you wouldn't want to miss.

Hi Latiff,
Very nice picture - a very classic Austrian scene which you have captured brilliantly. Perhaps a little increase in contrast would really add some effect to this shot. Thanks for sharing,
Jules

Hello Latiff,
The picture feels so long in height, due to the framing to both sides with the trees. Very nice mountains in the background. A bit dark in the foreground perhaps, but that is the atmosphere! Nice.
Guess they won't have a lot of sun in their house ;-).
Greetings! Dennis

Hello Latiff,
I like the contrast between the dark and foggy valley and the bright peak, the composition is very good, as well. I have made some minor corrections so as to enhance the effect of the contrast. I hope you will like it.
Best whishes
Laszlo
