I thought since the winter Olympics were going on, I would pull out some pictures I took of the Bergisel Ski Jump in Innsbruk, Austria. While it was not used in the two Olympics held in Innsbruk (Construction completed in 2002 and replaced earlier jumps), two yearly competitions are held here; the International Four-Hill Ski-Jumping competition in January and the summer jumping competition as part of the summer Grand Prix in August.
The building seen at the top was designed by Zaha Hadid, and has three levels consisting of a restaurant and an observation deck, in which a fantastic view of the surrounding area can be seen from 250 m above Innsbruck.
More pictures to come in the upcomming days.

Very interesting photo, Amber! For me, who lives in a country without winter sports, itīs nice to see such a crazy ramp and read about it. Your picture shows a nice view! Tfs!

What a pleasent surprise to see which brilliant colours are usually covered under the white mantle of snow.
Nice POV and great colors, also in the sky.
