Hi Georg,

Interesting how they used to build such huge buildings on the side of cliffs and mountainsides. The image is very good and shows fine details and colours. Effective point of view to capture the summt in the background. Thanks Georg.

It always amazes me how, in medieval times, they could build such wonderful structures in the mountains. Well composed image with the castle bottom right balanced by the mountain top left. Well done

the grey peak in the height balances well against the grey castle a bit lower. Well combined with the large green slope. Fine change of light in the distance.

Bonjour Georg,
la photo typique de ces chateaux haut perchés et entourés de verdure ou de sapins. La contre plongée qui leur done toujours tellement d'allure.
Bien cadré avec ce roc à l'arrière plan qui donne altitude et profondeur.

Georg, what a shot, I imagine this is wahat a bird would see as he flies toward the high country. The shot is good, colorful and detailed but I get lost in the scene, oh what an impressive place this must have been when it was first constructed as seen by people not jaded by other grand buildings and structures. Great post.

Still looks very medieval. I often wonder how they managed in those days to erect such a large construction on a rock. Good pov from below; I also like how you incorporate the rock in the back and that you slightly off-center the castle. Again a very interesting historical note!
