In the Petersfriedhof (St. Peter's Cemetery) beneath the Hohensalzburg Castle. The lighting conditions were horrible when I took this photo, and I am aware that the vegetation looks extremely grainy and fake (due to excessive post-processing, which the rest of the photo seriously required - if anyone knows how to lighten up vegetation like this without destroying it, I would appreciate tips). :)

Technical complaints aside, I was quite impressed by this cemetery. It has graves outside as well as catacombs leading into the mountain. The fortress looms large over the whole area.

What an interesting place to be buried: in the shadow of a grey mountain, beneath a shining white castle. It seems a fitting death for the heros of our myths and legends.
