Photographer’s Note

Easter Sunday in Hinterglemm in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 1894m.
The view is from the cable-car station at the summit of Zwölferkogel.
It was a great day in April.
Summer temperatures and snow.
In my WS you can see the Easter Bunny skiing.

one of the best ski shots on TE, i think... so different... i like the pov, the misty sky and the yellow and red skiers adding dynamism to the shot... so clear and sharp as well... congrats liliana...

A nice compo.
The red and yellow clothes are nicely contrasting with the white snow.
I like the dynamics provided by the use of the picture diagonal.

Lovely looking shot Liliana, and the most crucial part of it for me is the red and the yellow jackets which stand out so well against the snow.

Hi Lili,
A very pleasant skiing photo. The woodne barrier on the right gives a lot of depth to the compo and these two brightly dressed skiers and a splash of colour to the scene.

Snow photos are rare this winter at TE and I like your composition.Good light in the foreground and these sportsman are at good positions and their colorfull cloth contrast very well with this snowy landscape.The peak in the clouds and shadow looks great.

Ciao Lili! che meravigliosa immagine ! Lo steccato divide in due la foto, in alto incombe una nube scura e in basso la neve è chiara, luminosa. Ma la bellezza è accresciuta moltissimo dai colori vivaci dei due sciatori, messi proprio nel posto giusto!

Excellent shot with a beautiful view of the Austrian Alps with the skiers in red and yellow clothes producing a nice contrast with the white snow. Nice catch of the foggy mountain in the back. The wooden fence give a very good perspective to your shot. Well done.

Your photography skills are getting higher and higher seeing your last uploads. The way you exposed this picture in the snow is really good. The composition with the red and yellow skieer seems if you were waited for them in the right position.

Hi Liliana. Good composition of the two skiers skiing down what seems to be a great place for this sport. Having learnt to ski as a kid in NZ, it looks surprising like some of the mountains there with cloud swirling around the peaks. Fond memories. TFS. Murray.

which we did not see too often during last "winter", but
2 nice colorful skiers doing the same move, a very long dark
fence, a great mountain in the bg and some clouds coming in low.

The resoluteness the very good picture. Here especially pleases the white of the snow trippant into the delicate blue. The excellent composition and the magnificently complex space of the picture through the participation of the fog in the responsible picture. The presence of skiers brings to life the photo acting it more to still attractive. The excellent colouring, the very good sharpness and the nice management with the depth of the sharpness.

Nice capture of the two skiers. The red and yellow add much appeal and contrast to the scene. I would consider cropping mid-way through the skiing area for a stronger composition.

Même si l'hiver est passé, les paysage de neige sont toujours beau à voir. Je comprends qu'il y ait de la neige à cette élévation.
Magnifique prise de vue avec la montagne dans les nuages. J'aime bien les deux personnages avec des habits colorés qui donnent une touche de couleurs à la photo.

Very nice POV! The colours of that clothes are great details here and the skiers presence are important also to show the dimensions of the mountains. Much better than this is to ski down there, and I suppose that you did it after this nice capture.

Hi Lily, this is wonderful, really nice shots. Technically and in terms of PP this is brilliant : contrasts are well handled, luminosity is well chosen, and all is so neat and sharp.
On artistical approach this is good too, i love where the skiers are positionned, and they are exactly at the same time in their curves ! This fluo touch of their clothes adds something interesting.

Great plunging view of this downnhill in white tones, only breaked by the yellow nd red tones of the skiers. The textures of the snow and this fence following the downhill adds a lot to this beautiful photo as also the smooth mist envoling the top of the mountain.

From this warm and sunny spring perspective, this shot looks unreal, as if taken on the other planet.
I like your composition, divided by the fence in two halves, with little touch of colours brought by these two skiers. It's pity that we don't see the mountain top, but that' s obviously thanks to the typical mountain weather, with sun on one side and clouds on another one.

This is a wonderful photo. As I've been late to comment on it, I will simply say how beautiful it is with the coloured skiiers contrasting against the white snow.

This shot is worth a watch.The red and yellow colour jackets of the two persons is the eye catcher.The landscape is superb with the cloud covered mountains.It seems like nature is playing hide and seek in that place.The composition, framing and sharpness is up to he mark.
I think the best shot in your gallery is your own intro shot....
