Photographer’s Note

A funny detail of this picture, showing the boathouses of Hallstatt on a rainy day: the very little bird sitting on the on the underpart of the frame and looking to the same view as you and me.
Because of the bad weather conditions the original shot wasn't optimal: I added some contrast and some brightness, besides I cropped and framed.

Hi Huub, I really like the mood of this one on a rainy day - melancholy but beautiful. Very evocative, with the mist and the mountain in the background. The bird is a great detail - but if you hadn't pointed him out in your note I would've missed him! Good work!

Hello Huub,
This shot is excellent with perfect capture of the cold mood. I like these typical houses and their reflections on water while the background is completely dominated by the moutains and the low clouds.
The bird seems to watch, as you did, the whole scenery but now he's resting on your frame:)

Superb scene, those wooden houses and boats sheds near the silver lake and with the majestic, foggy mountain above. Excellently captured.

Hi Huub. It's because of the weather that you present a scene full of atmosphere.I love the mist, the clouds and the ripples on the water.The subdued light has made the colours richer and "seasoned". Well sone. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Hubb,

Beautiful composition with the houses sort of divide the frame to water below and mountains above the partition line. Very sharp as well. I like the clouds that are floating above the villag and can only wish I were there...
