La lumière était parfaite et faisait ressortir la beauté des voûtes et du travail de la pierre.

Facinating capture of enhanced light and shadow in the category of 'Architecture'. The colours are warm and effective in highlighting the angular arches and the amazing clarity of the staircase.
The curved shadows on the stairs are lovely !
The subdued light in the upper floor, above the stairs has been very well taken.
The composition, with the staicase in the foreground and the arched ceiling of the upper floor at the top of the photograph is effective and significant to the theme where the light plays such an important part.

bella scalinata, oltre che i passi, guida anche il nostro sguardo verso il centro dell'immagine, mi piacciono molto le tonalità dorate ed il gioco di ombre.

Salut Roland,
très belle compo et très belle lumière effectivement qui met en valeur l'architecture. Moi je verrais un passant (ou passante tant qu'à faire!) en train de monter ces escalier histoire d'habiter ce lieu un peu vide sinon...mais bon, pas toujours facile d'avoir un modèle sous la main!
