Christian

Hi Christian,
A marvellous effect and capture of speed here! The background looks like painted and the cyclist is perfectly placed. Very attractive colours!
Kind regards

Hallo christian.

Bravo
Buona domenica

Hello Christian
Reminds me of http://www.trekearth.com/viewphotos.php?l=3&p=261745 shot by Claire
I like your dynamism since the cyclist is heading downwards..great work my friend..
why is there less definition on the cyclist's head ?
cheers

Ciao!!!

Supereb! what a steady shot even with such high speed the overall photo looks stunning with everything in motion except for the cyclist, I am sure it wouldn't have been easy.
The thing I liked the most in the frame is the fact that the earth showing through the cycle wheels is also moving and the wheels has come still, and the fact that you can not find such effects with moving cars.

Hello Christian,
I've read from you (and I am agree) that one has to be lucky to get a good panning. But as you are lucky with so many different kinds of techniques, I suspect that... good luck does not have to do with your pictures!
Here the choice to compose a diagonal panning and the extremely low time exposure (1/20) paid out a lot of dividends.
Congratulations, Dario.

Hi Chris
Fantastic speed's effect , the cyclist seems to fly in a strange universe.
I don't know how we can obtain this result. You move at the same time with your camera?
In any cases it is a magnificent realization with the centring in the diagonal.
Great shot, bravo!

Devastating work Christian, something i can only imagine and never do. I love the racy motion and the way you have captured the action. The background hues and etxtures are great

Christian,
you didn't try some panning. You did some panning! Stop being so modest and admit that you did an outstanding and perfect job here. Not only the panning itself is perfect, but also the compostion of the guy being up in the right upper corner and streaming into the left lower corner. Perfect capture of a high dynamic moment.

Hi, Christian -
An almost perfect job (the bicycle is sharp but the head is moving). Really well executed with the subject moving into the frame with great dynamism.
Keep it up!
Best,

Hallo Christian! Perfekt! Liebe Gruesse + ein tolles Weekend ... Barbara.

Hi Chris.

Greetings Chris,
What a fun shot! The effect of the background in motion makes it look like an oil painting that someone has systematically smeared with a diagonal motion.
It's really cool how the front of the bike is perfectly in focus, and as we move toward the back of the bike the rider begins to melt into the blurry background.
I thought I knew what panning was - moving back and forth - but now I'm going to look it up! Thanks so much for this exciting and original capture!
Best from California,
Rachel

Hello Christian -
This is a great motion scene! I have tried panning numerous times and have had nothing but lack luster results.
