Photographer's Note

Located on the border between Carinthia and East Tyrol is the highest peak of the massif called the Glockner Group which is located on the main side of the Hohe Tauern.

At the foot of the Großglockner is the Pasterze glacier, the largest in the Eastern Alps.

Within the National Park Hohe Tauern is possible to cover a scenic road toll, the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, which connects Heiligenblut (Carinthia) with Fusch (in Salzburg). Along the approximately 48 km of its course, allows you to see up close the top, from an altitude of around 2,500 meters above sea level
