Vienna is an acquired taste. I suppose you have to be either frightfully innocent or old enough to really appreciate it. Not unlike that famous Paul McCartney song that most "serious" Beatle fans tend to abhor, preferring Lennon's wit over Macca's kitsch. But the innocent and the really, really experienced do appreciate a little ob-la-di, ob-la-da in life.
Simple pleasures as a refuge for the complex.
This picture was shot in the garden of the Belvedere palace. The statue is one of a series of 12, each symbolizing a month of the year.
La-la-la-la, life goes on.

A nice photo of a nice art with an informative and interesting note.variety of background with colors made this white statue more eye catching,a good angle chosen.
Well presented with an elegant frame.

well, wien is a "creme-de-la-creme" aristocratic city, it is indeed full of people living in the times of habsburg empire still in their dreams, and making it a bit come to real in their daily lives. and you do enjoy that grandur in many many details, this one being one of them. the light is so soft and nice.
