Photographer’s Note
The Danube River is famous in word and music. The river originates in the Black Forest in Germany and flows eastwards for a distance of some 2850 km (1771 miles), passing through four Central and Eastern European capitals, before emptying into the Black Sea via the Danube Delta in Romania and Ukraine It is very popular as the choice of river cruises. This picture I took from our hotel window in Linz and was struck by the moon, in its crescent shape form, shining brightly on this river.
