a horse and cart cliché from Vienna
The picture was taken not far from the Spanish Riding School, Vienna's walhalla for horse lovers. Must say, we were impressed. Even me, being a bit sceptical.
The title refers to a traditional children's song from way down America's Deep South, which was taken up as a title for a novel by the great Cormac McCarthy.

very well done double portrait of the horses. Superb framing and very suitable monochrome format.
I like a bit of girl included in the composition which adds some human element.
Great contrast and sharpness.
Very good job! TFS!

a nice composition here. I like the double portrait of these horses, tightly framed. The presentation in monochrome is a fine idea. It suits your composition. The face of a girl in foreground added life to it. A very good one. Tfs.

I like very much this tight and elegant composition that's rendered graphic and even more attractive by a fine monochrome treatment. The two horses have been captured from a great angle, they mirror each other and create a lovely rhythm. You have cropped this scene very effectively, adding solidity, balance and interest with the human profile on the left. The monochrome has also exalted the textures and details. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,
